One of my favorites too, Kevin. I might have considered cropping, to make it all about him, have him fill the frame. But that would have been all wrong. Every detail of setting contributes something and makes proportions "right." This is really powerful.
I really admire what you are doing. I don't see documentary work like yours anymore, anywhere. Your work is so morally relevant and I applaud you... Even though this guy doesn't have glasses, he has found a way to read. Pathetic and heroic at the same time, I am both saddened and uplifted...Love the strong tonal contrasts.
