Is it just me, or is it only in recent years that this has become iconic in movies and TV? I guess the oddness or appeal is as simple as putting a cement bottom in there and calling it a river? For me, your photo captures the spare and bare quality of the thing, which is what I've felt during those movies and TV shows.
What I've always loved about this photo is that you obviously risked getting doused to take it, you're completely invested in it and it shows. Congratulations, K.
