When I was in Japan, at night, walking from downtown Sendai back to our camp across the river, there would be little mobile counters, not decorated like this, but you could sit on a stool and there was a counter. They sold steaming hot bowls of ramen noodles. And oh my were they delicious. I had to look to make sure this photo was not a modern one.

One day you'll show a photo of a dark location, empty of people. The next day you'll show a photo of a person, full, full.

For me, the light and color are working better in/with the darkness than they do in some shots of neon. This one's perky.
