Boathouse, Echo Park Lake

The next time I'm in Los Angeles I'll have to try to get to Echo Park and see it in person. I've been rather curious since over the last few months I've read most of Michael Connelly's novels including Echo Park.

This is another terrific shot Kevin. Very moody, a perfect setting for a murder mystery. Fictional of course.

I can hear the footsteps, click-click-click-click.

Yes, moody, dreamy. I mean this in a good way: it's the kind of photo that makes me wish I were a man. Many of yours are that way for me.

Very film noir.

Beautiful. Your images always make me think about you and your process, in wonder.

Tom Waits. A Bukowski poem or maybe a short story by Nathaniel West. Mock orange blossoms mixed with cigarette smoke. Maybe someone is trying repeatedly to start a car.

I'm getting caught up in the atmosphere here, K.

fantastic! One of your best. Love it! Spooky, dark, almost midevil...

It's all been said but Kevin this is exceptional. I love the shadowy sihouettes of the palm trees in the background and that soft light.
