K, I'm not glad you're sick but I'm glad you're showing your "old" stuff. The picture transports me in time, like a Eudora Welty story.

What , you're sick? Well I'm as sorry as can be. I was fixin' ( that's a southern term) to lay into you about how in the HELL you get this kind of photo. THis is just amazing, K. Most folks, including moi, would have lightened the hell out of it , but not you. You knew the darkness and shadows would make this world class.

I'm sure I didn't sit in that chair but I've sat around that waiting room more than once.

This is another incredible shot. I don't know how you manage to get shots like these and I'm pretty sure you're not going to tell us but they are unreal.

I hope you're feeling better.

Hmmm, let's see - you must really be a ... photographer! Really good stuff, this.
I'm glad you went to the doc, & hope he fixed you up with something more potent than TJ's salsa. I'm a firm believer in the power of modern drugs. Hope you are back on your feet soon.

This is one of my favorites.

I've sat in those hundreds of times, since I was a very little girl.

This is very beautiful and reflects my mood today.

There is so much subtext in those shadows. For every subject you reveal, you hint at a backstory behind it in the dark spaces that surround. Wonderful.
