Originally, I wasn't going to post this photo, which I took two months ago, as it's just too raw. But the other morning I was out taking photos and David recognized me before I recognized him.
And he remembered my name.
A sweet but damaged man who last night probably had another cold night's sleep.

I can see how you could not have posted this... David is a special soul....amazing who remembers us, isn't it?
this is a hard hard image Kevin.

Glad you posted it. It is everyday life many others like David. We should feel so fortunate.
this is a photo that should be posted.
that this man,David, who s life can't be easy or comfortable..remembers you...wow! he needs to be shared..too often ,he is probably "not seen" despite the many who walk by.
Thanks for the reminder that so many here need help and that I can DO something to be of help.
a silent bow in respect.

Not many answers.

I can understand your hesitancy, but in a way, I think this image should be blown up and on billboards across the entire country. The impact is especially strong this time of year. A lesson in gratitude and so much more...
another amazing image Kevin that somehow seems like something never seen before, as all your images seem to do, like the last one too.
An education, for sure. I've heard of frostbite forever, it seems, but have never seen it. Ditto the others about our needing to see it.
We want to be heard and seen, to be known, especially when we suffer. Your photos are a kind of generosity.
This photo is really touching. It moved my heart.
