when I was a boy there was a sitcam calld "So This is Hollywood" which featurd this kind of apartment complex. years later when I began visiting I'd walk the streets of Hollywood looking for them with fondness.
wd love to see a whole book of photographs of such courtyards.

These places fascinate me. There's one near Lincoln Park called the Motor Hotel. Is this it, I wonder.
This feels like holiday bungalows, abandoned between seasons.

I'm sure in its heyday it was quite the address to have. They still keep the place up, love it.
