Everyone has beaten me to the Old Masters painting complement, but I must second, third, twenty-fifth the notion, Kevin. Your photos are transcending the medium and becoming digital paintings, really. I think some of my favorite pieces of yours are these shots of the people on the street, the life blood of the real Los Angeles. You capture the city so well in all its dark history and Hispanic glory. Take that from a native...

Go to the Huntington sometime and look at the Rembrandt portraits. You'll know them by the personality that lights their eyes. This is like that.
