Stunning, such intense and honest eyes. Your photo is like an oil painting and that's a compliment.
I'll complement what Elisabeth says by seconding her: marvelous.
Truly Elisabeth has said it all.

Kevin a magical shot!
One of your very best. It would leave Rembrandt scratching his head.
This looks like a painting by Vermeer. Uncanny
haunting—as are so many of your portraits
Caravaggio would be pleased.
Worthy of old master.
Rembrandt or Vermeer? I see it, brown and shadow and light. I agree, one of your best. Wow.
Light and dark--fabulous.
maybe its cause I just wizard of oz, but he looks like the cowardly lion, no offence meant. And it is like something by Vermeer
Oh my dear K, this is a keeper. WOW!

Go to the Huntington sometime and look at the Rembrandt portraits. You'll know them by the personality that lights their eyes. This is like that.
Magnificent portrait.
Awesome portrait!
