Interesting about the other comments, I find it completely realistic and not sinster - looks to me like an old master painting - it's all about the lighting and the color and the details.

Catalina is definitely worth a trip - lots of places to escape the crowded Avalon. My favorite was camping along one of the remote coves - 27 years ago (sheesh).
