There's still time to vote for "Sidewalk in East L.A."

As a supporter of public transport, I wish "car-nation" was only a flower.
But empty bus stops are fascinating, regardless of the implications.

I support public transportation, too. But I couldn't sit and wait there. No, no, not at night, not alone.

In early 70's, at 13 I visited a friend in Eagle Rock. Had to get the bus from her house to Ave 54 & Fig in Highland Park - it was dark when I got to the bus stop & the buses would not stop for me. Finally one bus driver stopped & told me that after 6 pm, they stop at every other stop. I was so grateful for that kind heart.
Can't put that building in a button-hole.

Sorry I forgot to say - Great shot.

Okay, Kevin. This goes on the cover of your first book of LA photos. How on earth do you manage to say so much about this place in a single image? This is exceptional.

Looks like the set for a Clifford Odets play. In fact, many of your photos look like sets to me -- late at night, after the actors and audience have gone home.

I like most of your shots. I'm working here in Saudi Arabia. I'm inviting you to see my Photographs at my site, Camera Ni Cabrera.
