.) This evening, while waiting to make a left hand turn onto Doheny from Santa Monica Blvd., I adjusted the volume on the radio and two speakers that I never knew I had kicked in. Suddenly The Supremes were asking me "Where Did Our Love Go?' from the back of my head. I've had this car for a year and a half and never knew I had four speakers. What else don't I know?
.) Why, yes, that is a new camera. Its a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 with a Leica lens. Many, many other features but maybe the best is the stablization device. Thank you for noticing.
.) An hour ago I turned on the wrong burner on the stove and nearly burned the house down.
.) Putting glasses on William Holden in "Born Yesterday" to make him look brainy: Not convincing.
.) I hope to watch not one single second of the Olympics. By the way, I've never seen one single second of "American Idol", any "Survivor" show, or "Lost". I hear that "Arrested Development", "24" and "The Sopranos" are good but I've never seen one single second of them either. Hmmm, this might be the beginning of a whole new category.
.) I've never spent one single second scuba diving or mountain climbing. And I probably never will.
