I had no idea that there was a grain elevator in Los Angeles, let alone one that size. That has got to be 60 miles from the nearest major agricultural area, isn't it? I would expect something that size up at Oxnard, but not in the middle of South Central!
Logistics aside, that is a great photo. The angle is ideal, and the presence of a rail car provides both scale and a sense of life/color. That is an odd visual effect that the reinforcement bars on the silos creates. Very curious, and interesting!
