Did I tell you I have a protea tree? I bought it as a deceptively tame little bush and now it's huge. The flowers, I think, are only beautiful at this exact moment.

what i find very intriguing with most all of your flower images is they all seem like some mystical creatures.
There's something in there which is very special. Lot's of photographers have photographers flows. There are as am nay approaches as there are cameras. I've always loved Penn's flowers in decline. And Mapplethorp's charged shapes. Yours are also in a class of their own.
