I love how much these two seemingly similar photographs are so vastly different. The contrast between them is rich, and expressive. Perhaps even a little bit disorienting. I like it a lot, and I like that you posted them together. I'd be very interested in the reaction of people who see this place every day.

I was satisfied with the first one till I read Jonderson's comment. Now I think I agree--the pair is at least better and maybe essential.

Looks more like something you might see in Texas or North Carolina. But San Fernando Valley? Great shot.
