Kevin,
i have to say this shot had me laughing. everything is wonderful, light, symmetry, composition and then the aerial on the roof.

These places fascinate me. There's one near Lincoln Park called the Motor Hotel. Is this it, I wonder.

This feels like holiday bungalows, abandoned between seasons.

when I was a boy there was a sitcam calld "So This is Hollywood" which featurd this kind of apartment complex. years later when I began visiting I'd walk the streets of Hollywood looking for them with fondness.

wd love to see a whole book of photographs of such courtyards.

I'm sure in its heyday it was quite the address to have. They still keep the place up, love it.

Have always liked apartments around a courtyard. So 1940s, so LA.
