Happy Monday

"East of West LA" is starting the week with a very nice review from Los Angeles photographer Aline Smithson.

And, as a reminder, "East of West LA" is available at Book Soup on Sunset Strip as well as Hennessey & Ingalls (in Hollywood), Stories in Echo Park, Metropolis Books , The Stephen Cohen Gallery, Skylight Books and Lead Apron.

I love that review and am once again bowled (is that a word?)over by the portraits. This one looks a little like Joan Rivers.

Excellent review... a pleasure to see a great blog and great photos get recognized.

There's an article in the National Geographic that just came out about growing new cults in Mexico, am wondering if this icon is linked to that phenomenon...

Kevin, she posted some portraits I hadn't seen before so now I'm even more in awe. You really ought to get tired of hearing that. You don't need to write poems, either, because you photograph them. But I love them poem.
