I really like your perspective -- it took me a minute to figure out what exactly was going on with those diagonal words. I also like the slight graininess which gives the image a feeling of being a captured moment that is somehow lost in time.
And, who knew a plastic chair could look so ... classic?

Laurie, those plastic chairs have been around so long they probably are classic by now.

It's the angles that are classic, reminds me of a Jean Negulesco film.
