This is stunning, there's a real tension and implied story here. I'd be tempted to ask who Carlos is but I think I prefer everyone to imagine something different every time.

I've been to LA many times. Mostly for work. Mostly doing film work or shoots. staying in fancy hotels, eating in fine restaurants. I live in NJ minutes from Manhattan. I've never been exposed to the LA in your images. Or never had time to see it. You bring a perspective that is different from the image us tourists have of LA. You're puzzling together a story of the city that is both beautiful and touching as well as tragic and sad. I'm deeply touched. You're an amazing observer and photographer.
