I'm kind of slow, but now realize how these places take on a new life when no one's around.

Sorry to put on a hat I don't wear in public often, but one can see that this may have been built to glorify god.

I agree with Karin: sans people is good. Reminds me of a line from an old British TV series, "Yes Minister": hospitals work so much better without patients.
